Terms of Use
These terms govern access to Utilio and use of the public online tools at utilio.to.
Key terms
Use only data you have the right to process
Use Utilio only for data you have the right to process, and do not submit secrets, sensitive data, or someone else's material without a lawful basis.
Review results yourself
Review results yourself. Utilio does not provide legal, financial, medical, tax, security, or other professional advice.
Do not abuse the service
Attacks, bypassing limits, API abuse, malware, phishing, spam, privacy violations, copyright infringement, and unlawful use are prohibited.
Current version has no accounts or payments
Utilio does not create accounts, take payments, host user content, or accept user files into server processing queues.
Basics
1. Acceptance
By using Utilio, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use the service for a company, client, employer, school, team, or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms or are not allowed to use the service in your jurisdiction, do not use Utilio.
2. Operator and contact details
The service operates under the Utilio brand at utilio.to. Public operator/controller: Utilio.
For legal questions, abuse reports, copyright notices, and official correspondence, contact legal@utilio.to. For support, use support@utilio.to; for privacy requests, use privacy@utilio.to; for security vulnerabilities, use security@utilio.to.
- Service operator/controller: Utilio.
- Public service domain: https://utilio.to.
- Privacy requests: privacy@utilio.to.
- Legal notices and official correspondence: legal@utilio.to.
3. Service description
Utilio provides public tools for PDFs, images, text, development, generators, and file viewing. File and text tools run locally in the browser. DNS Lookup makes a network request to Cloudflare DNS over HTTPS to resolve DNS records.
We may add, change, rename, limit, change how a tool runs, or discontinue tools when needed for security, quality, law, load, product development, or support.
4. Age and eligibility
Utilio is not intended for children under 13. Users below the digital consent age in their country may use the service only with consent from a parent or legal guardian.
You must not use Utilio if doing so is prohibited by applicable sanctions, export-control rules, contract, employer policy, or law that applies to you or the data you handle.
Using the service
5. Accounts, payments, Pro, and API
Utilio does not require an account, take payments, issue API keys, issue invoices, or provide paid/Pro features. Any paid feature, account, or API access operates only after separate terms are published or these Terms are updated.
If you automate high-volume use, scripts, scraping, or integrations, you are responsible for respecting limits, service stability, and these Terms. We may limit or block high-volume use without separate permission.
6. Local and server processing
Local tools perform the main operation in the browser, and Utilio does not receive source files, pasted text, or those tool results on a server. You understand that local security depends on your device, browser, extensions, and network.
DNS Lookup sends the domain and DNS record type to Cloudflare DNS over HTTPS. By using that tool, you authorize this network request to obtain DNS results.
Utilio does not accept user files into server queues. For analytics with opt-out controls and technical site operation, you grant Utilio a limited right to receive, store, transmit, validate, and delete technical data only for service operation, security, diagnostics, limits, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.
7. Your data and content rights
You keep all rights in files, images, documents, text, domains, URLs, parameters, and results you process through Utilio. Utilio does not take ownership of your content.
You confirm that you have the lawful right to process that content and that using Utilio does not violate privacy, copyright, trade secret, contractual, employment, data protection, consumer protection, or other third-party rights.
Utilio does not use user files or pasted text to train artificial intelligence models and does not publish user content as hosted user content.
Data, content, and security
8. Prohibited use
You agree to use Utilio lawfully, in good faith, and without harming the service, users, or third parties.
- Attacks and bypassing limits: do not attack, scan, overload, reverse engineer, bypass limits, bypass authentication, access someone else's data, or test vulnerabilities outside responsible disclosure.
- Malicious use: do not use the service for malware, phishing, spam, credential theft, unauthorized scraping, bot abuse, unlawful surveillance, doxing, stalking, harassment, or protection bypass.
- Unlawful material: do not upload, paste, or generate material that is unlawful, violates third-party rights, contains malicious code, or that you do not have the right to process.
- Notices, brand, and source information: do not remove or hide copyright, brand, attribution, security, rate-limit, or source notices if they appear in the service or results.
- High-volume automation: do not use Utilio for high-volume automation, resale, benchmarking abuse, model scraping, or competitive copying without permission if it harms the service or violates Utilio's rights.
9. Output review and no professional advice
Tools may be wrong because of source file formats, encodings, fonts, browser limits, WebAssembly/browser bugs, third-party libraries, network errors, invalid input, or algorithm limits.
You are responsible for reviewing results before sending, publishing, printing, signing, archiving, legal use, tax filing, medical/security decisions, production deployment, or any use where real harm can occur.
Utilio does not provide legal, financial, medical, tax, compliance, security, engineering audit, or other professional services. Tools and site text are utilities and reference information, not a professional opinion.
10. Third-party services, libraries, and open source
Utilio uses third-party libraries, browser APIs, CDN, hosting, DNS-over-HTTPS providers, email, monitoring, analytics when it has not been disabled in the browser, and other infrastructure services. Those third parties operate under their own terms and policies.
Utilio does not control and is not responsible for external websites, APIs, browser extensions, operating systems, networks, devices, corporate proxies, third-party providers, or user actions outside the service.
11. Privacy and security
The Privacy Policy explains what data may be processed, which tools run locally, what rights users have, and how analytics works. By using Utilio, you acknowledge that you have read that policy.
You must not send secrets, access tokens, private keys, production credentials, medical documents, financial documents, children's data, or someone else's personal data to support or legal channels unless we specifically request the minimum necessary information and you have the right to disclose it.
12. Utilio intellectual property
Utilio, the brand, logos, interface, text, structure, design, service source code, tool registry, and related materials are protected by intellectual property and other applicable rights.
These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the public service as intended. They do not grant rights in the Utilio brand, code, design, domains, trademarks, or commercial exploitation of the service.
Rights, disclaimers, and liability
13. Copyright, DMCA, and legal notices
If you believe material on Utilio infringes your rights, send notice to legal@utilio.to. Include the right holder, work or right involved, URL or exact location, authority evidence, your contact details, a good-faith infringement statement, and confirmation that the notice is accurate.
Utilio may remove or restrict access to disputed material, request more information, reject incomplete notices, or act against abuse of the notice process.
14. Availability, changes, and suspension
The service is provided as available. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free tools, preservation of temporary results, compatibility with every file, or support for every browser.
We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue the service or individual functions without prior notice when needed for security, law, maintenance, load, quality, business model, or user protection.
We may block or limit access for Terms violations, abuse, security risk, legal request, excessive load, suspicious traffic, or harm to the service and third parties.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Utilio is provided as is and as available without express, implied, or statutory warranties, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, security, uninterrupted operation, and error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights, warranties, or remedies that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Utilio, the operator, contributors, contractors, and suppliers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, procurement of substitute services, or harm from using or being unable to use the service.
If liability cannot be fully excluded, aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you actually paid Utilio to use the service during the previous 12 months or the minimum amount permitted by applicable law. Because the service is currently free, actual payment is usually zero.
Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including fraud, intentional misconduct, death or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited, and mandatory consumer rights.
17. Indemnity
If you use Utilio for an organization or violate these Terms, you agree to indemnify Utilio against reasonable losses, expenses, claims, and costs, including legal fees, arising from your content, unlawful use, third-party rights violations, legal violations, or Terms violations, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
This clause does not limit consumer rights where law does not permit such an obligation.
Disputes and changes
18. Governing law and disputes
Unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Before a formal dispute, contact legal@utilio.to with the issue, URL, evidence, and requested resolution so we can try to resolve it directly. This does not limit rights that cannot be limited by law.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the service, law, infrastructure, contacts, paid features, API, abuse patterns, or operating model change. Continuing to use Utilio after the updated version is published means acceptance unless applicable law requires another process.
Material changes may receive additional notice through available channels, but Utilio does not require accounts and usually has no individual contact channel for each visitor.
