No AI training: what Utilio does not do with your files
For local tools, selected files, pasted text, settings, generated values, and results stay in your browser. Utilio does not send that content to train AI models.
Short version
Current local tools do not send tool content to Utilio for model training.
Utilio does not use local tool content for advertising profiles, generative AI training, or hosted datasets.
If Utilio ever adds AI features or server processing, those pages need separate labels, policy text, and user-facing limits before launch.
What happens
For local tools, selected files, pasted text, settings, generated values, and results stay in your browser. Utilio does not send that content to train AI models.
The site may still receive ordinary technical requests and opt-in analytics events allowed by the Privacy Policy. Analytics events must not include file bodies, raw pasted text, file names, passwords, keys, tokens, domains, URLs, generated values, or tool results.
- A document opened in DOCX Viewer is for local preview, not for training a text model.
- Text cleaned or counted in browser text tools is not sent to Utilio as training data.
- Generated passwords, UUIDs, QR content, and settings are not stored by Utilio as AI examples.
What does not happen
Utilio does not use current local tool content to train, fine-tune, evaluate, prompt, or benchmark AI models. It also does not sell local tool content as a dataset.
Privacy-safe analytics must not include file bodies, raw pasted text, file names, passwords, keys, tokens, domains, URLs, generated values, or tool results.
- No AI training job receives a local file from Utilio.
- No local tool result is stored as a model example by Utilio.
- No advertising system receives local tool content from Utilio.
What you should still watch out for
No AI training is a promise about Utilio's tools. It does not control your browser extensions, operating system, clipboard tools, enterprise monitoring, malware, or another service where you upload or paste the result later.
It also does not mean every online tool has the same rule. For upload-based services, check whether their policy allows model training, human review, dataset creation, advertising use, or sharing with AI subprocessors.
Network tools are separate
DNS Lookup is a network lookup tool, not an AI tool. It sends a domain and DNS record type to Cloudflare DNS over HTTPS so records can be resolved; local file content is not involved.
Future Utilio AI features or server processing would be separate from today's local tools. They would need a different processing notice and a clear explanation of what is sent, retained, deleted, and excluded from model training.
Questions people ask about files and AI training
Does Utilio train AI on my files?
No. Utilio does not use files, pasted text, settings, generated values, or results from local tools to train AI models.
Does no AI training also cover pasted text and generated values?
Yes. The boundary covers local tool content such as selected files, pasted text, parameters, generated values, and results.
Can analytics be used to reconstruct my file for AI training?
No. Utilio analytics events are limited technical events and counters. File contents, raw pasted text, file names, passwords, keys, tokens, domains, URLs, generated values, and results are not allowed in analytics events.
What if Utilio adds AI tools later?
That would need a separate processing notice and updated explanation before launch. Utilio does not include AI tools or AI training on tool content.
